Morin Heights Summit – Saturday Night’s allright for fun skiing

With a beautiful Saturday and Mother Nature giving us first hints of spring ski season today, good time to check out Morin Hieghts Summit for the night.

To enjoy the last sun rays of this wonderful day, got there by the end of the afternoon. A little sugar fix… gotta love it… and off we go  !

Nice transition from daytime to night, day skiers leaving, no traffic on the slopes, and sun slowly setting down in the valley, a fun night ahead.

After a few warm up runs, time to fill up for a pleasant night. You can enjoy an excellent meal soup at the Kicking Horse Bar.

Night conditions were great, of course as the sun went down, bases were a little hardened and you can encounter a few icy patches, but with such llittle crowd, we could find the better snow areas.

So pleasant to have the slopes almost to ourselves, and super comfortable temperatures, no need to stop and go inside to warm up.

Be on the watch, as weather forecasters are calling for a few additional centimeters to accumulate this week. They say around 10 + overall are to fall throughout this week, and temperatures would not reach more than + 3 degrees celsius. So coverage will be refreshed to give us again fun times on the hills, day and night.

Night skiing away from the bigger crowds is offered at Morin Heights evey Friday and Saturday until the end of March, of course, weather permitting. Have a good week.
