We were reminded that, indeed, winter is not over yet. On the colder side this Friday morning, in the minus digits, after the few days of warmer temperatures, and a little rain 🙁 … Colder weather was back.
Of course this temperature drop affected the conditions on the mountain. But with all the snow received during February, the team responsible for the grooming of the trails did some good work to offer very good conditions. Good idea to have those edges sharpened.
Because of this drop of the temperatures in just one night, decision to close some of the mogul terrain and woods had to be made, to ensure secure skiing – riding. Nevertheless 27 trails of the 38 were accessible and in good shape. As said, bases are harder and surfaces are fast.
Just a little over 1 1/2 hour from Montreal, this family oriented resort is the highest summit in the Lanaudière region. Activities for everyone are scheduled for this last week-end of the Spring break.Let’s see what is going on…

Another winter day in store for Saturday, with a high of minus -8 and plenty of sunshine are in the forecast. Temperature will get a little warmer by early week, with a max of + 2. Beautiful to enjoy March skiing with Mister Snowman. Enjoy your week-end outdoors !
