Hello skiers,
Today in Val Saint-Côme there are two events: the Nor-Am race in the Audacieuse with U-14 and U-16 groups, and the final match of men’s hockey 🥅 for the Olympic Gold between Canada and the USA. It’s really impressive to see the game on absolutely every screen at the station, and to hear Pierre Houde’s voice on the speakers rather than the usual music.
We lost at the end of the track of course, but in such a situation everyone is a winner. Both teams gave everything and yes, it takes one mark before the other, but it could have been any one. Well done!

During this beautiful sunny day ☀️ we were able to ski most of the resort’s slopes including undergrowth such as La Coulée and Les Cèdres, but also Le Point de Mire which I think I have not yet been able to ski this winter. During our last visit the track was not yet ready for my memory. The Point de Mire is our favorite of VSC, and as always the conditions were impeccable to do our carving.

Later, it was to La Coulée that we returned to test our old reflexes in the forest. And we inform you that we always have the reflexes; we happily sneak between the trees in these beautiful bumps, a little hard, but very beautiful anyway.
Last observation: the access to the 1000 feet has been modified and now orders us to pass near the old arrival of the T-Bar which was dismantled a few years ago. We do not know the reason for this change, but the whole thing appears very well to us.

The path that gave a more direct access arrived at the bottom of La Grande-Allée and the new detour makes it possible to avoid this branch where the two tracks fit together.
So another very nice day at VSC, and we invite you to come and enjoy all this beautiful snow ❄️ in the mountains for the most beautiful weeks of winter.

Good skiing 🎿 to all and wish us a long season, and especially without ice as we have had so far. What a winter we have…
See you next time and good skiing!
