Winter temperatures on the colder side this morning heading to the Bromont slopes at minus – 17, but plenty of sunshine. Beautiful day it’s going to be… Indeed it was, fortunately temperatures rose in the single digits by midday !
Bromont living up to its reputation as all trails were well groomed, snow coverage a plenty. Only 2 sides available today: the main side (Versant du Village with 23 trails) and the « Versant du soleil ». Nevertheless, good choice of trails for all categories of skiers/riders.
I started this last season, and it was enjoyed by a bunch of you ski fans, so here we go again. Today’s run of the day : the « Coupe du monde », very good conditions there too !
A few minutes waiting at the lifts by the end of the morning. I was not alone to come out and play. Was it to make more room for tonight’s dinner with family and friends ? ! ? Still the wait did not reach more than 5-10 minutes to go back up top.
With such clear skies and bright sunshine, you can’t pass on the beautiful views. When you see the trees frosted like that… Hmmm it’s kind of cold.
Freestyle riders and tricksters got to play in the park bearing the name of its local Champion : Max Parrot.
Tomorrow December 26th 2024, come ski and ride until 1:30 am, as Bromont holds its first « Nuit Blanche ».
Weatherwise, tomorrow calls for a comparable day. Cold minus – 15 in the morning, and warming up to reach minus -7 by the afternoon, again a day full of sunshine. Come and enjoy it !
